The Executive Committee

The Executive Committee of the Stockholm Student Investment Fund, SSIF, is charged with the responsibility of overseeing the operational efficiency of the fund. This includes the organization and execution of key events such as pitching sessions, case cracking sessions, and internal events. The Executive Committee acts as the governing body of SSIF and is responsible for the structured administration of all events within the fund. As such, it serves as the de facto board of directors for SSIF.

 
 
 

Presidium

The Presidium, being comprised of the President, Vice-President and the Heads of Fund, is vested with the essential duty of maintaining the integrity and stability of the investment fund. Its primary responsibilities include the oversight of the fund's operations and the judicious management of its assets. As the key decision-makers within the fund, the actions and directives of the Presidium are of paramount importance in ensuring the continued success of the fund and return on the Student Associations asets.

 

THE TEAM

 
 

Malte fernström | president

As President of the investment fund, I am charged with the ultimate responsibility for its administration and performance. In this capacity, I serve as the chair of the Presidium, the Executive Committee, and the Investment Committee. My role is to ensure the efficient operation of the fund on a daily basis, as well as the sound management of its investments. Additionally, my role to establish and implement the long-term strategy of the fund, with the ultimate goal of ensuring its continued growth and success. alex manca | vice-president

I am the right hand of the President and one of the key figures of the Fund, being a part of both the Fund’s executive committee as well as its investment committee. Together with the President, my key responsibilities include strategic decision making for the overall development of the fund as well as structuring the internal matters and schedule of the fund.

 

Murat DalyancI & douglas dalén | Heads of fund

Our key responsibilities include everything that revolves around the investment branch of the fund, from developing frameworks to making sure that each sector has a few prospects for different pitching events. We, together with the executive committee, are responsible for the recruitment of the sector heads and analysts. For this year, we are keen to see two Head of Funds; one master student and one bachelor student, although this is not set in stone and will depend on the merit of applicants.

 

rebekka andersson & Gabriela sirén | Heads of corporate relations

We operate within the Fund’s executive committee and our job is to predominantly to maintain the Fund’s relations to external parties and sponsors. This can involve organizing corporate events, field trips and similar matters.

 

adam hedin | Head of events

Head of Events is a role within the Fund’s executive committee, organizing a wide range of events. As presented in the event calendar, the Fund is to arrange several pitching events, educational events, workshops and competitions. I then am representative for the Fund, an authority in charge of all details pertaining to events.

 

oskar ekblom | Head of tech

The Head of Technology is a role within the Fund’s executive committee. As with the other executive committee members, I also participate in the long run strategy setting of the fund. Responsibilities include all things related to tech, including our very own SSIF-website, social outreach and similar matters. I am also responsible for the communication of upcoming events and the communication of decisions made by the executive committee to all analysts and other members of the fund.

 
 

LUcas karlberg | Head of operations

I act as the link between the executive committee and each sector. This means that I'm in charge of communication within the fund, ensuring that analysts and sector heads are up-to-date on decisions taken by the executive committee and the efficient functioning of each sector. Furthermore, I act in an advisory role to the sector heads on organizatial and administrative issues.
